Reykjavík Fashion Festival 2014

Ahh! hlakka svo til að hjálpa með undirbúninginn fyrir Reykjavík Fashion Festival í ár! Hátíðin byrjar á föstudaginn (á morgun!!) og allar sýningarnar eru á laugardaginn! Í ár sýna Farmers Market, Cintamani, ELLA, Sigga Maija, Magnea, Jör by Guðmundur Jörundsson, Ziska og REY. 

Ég elska ekkert meira en að vera partur af svona hátíðum, hef áður verið sjálfboðaliði á Sarajevo Film Festivali og það er það skemmtilegasta í heimi!

This friday is the first day of Reykjavík Fashion Festival and I´m helping with the preparation! all of the shows are on Saturday and this year, designers like, Farmers Market, Cintamani, ELLA, Sigga Maija, Magnea, Jör by Guðmundur Jörundsson, Ziska and REY are showing their new collections. The RFF is the highlight of the year for Icelandic design and I can´t wait to be a part of that!

Wearing my new Nike Air Max sneakers that are perfect for a Nike obsessed person like me and a Lindex striped sweater that I had to have because it makes me feel Parisian chic.

one snowy morning

A busy week has gone by and another one right ahead. Today we wanted to shoot in the snow, but when we finally got out the rain had almost melted it all away. It might be hard to believe but it almost never snows here, when it does it barely stays for long so when an opportunity came for a outfit-shoot in the snow we had to take it. Anyway, here´s another traditional Icelandic sweater that we have plenty off and are obsessed with and a comfy, cozy outfit for the cold days.

peace in the rain

Living in a place that is mostly know for being rainy and gloomy all year around makes it pretty hard to find the time to take pictures. But nonetheless it is my favorite place on earth and the rain makes me happy. I don´t know if it is because I´m a winter person or just because I´m used to the rainy days, but there is just something about the feeling you get watching the raindrops on your window or splash into a puddle. I simply find peace in it.

January new in - Amna edition

I finally got the chance to take some sneak peek photos of the stuff I bought at the beginning of January in Reykjavík. This isn´t everything, I´ve yet to show you my new CHANEL perfume and my two new bags that I couldn´t decide between so I bought both of them, but that will hopefully come in my next post.

I bought two dresses. A simple black peplum dress from Alice and a gorgeous floral peplum dress with a V back from Topshop (get yours here.)

Also at Topshop I bought a animal print oversized sweater that I absolutely adore. (Buy it here.)

 At Dorothy Perkins I got this sweater with a cute bow detail at the back. 

 At the Vero Moda store I bought these high wasted Pieces pants.

And probably my favorite! My Zara denim shirt. Never taking it off.

new in - Next sweater

I love sweaters and have been kinda unknowingly collecting them for a while. Here is one of three that I bought in Reykjavík last week. I love sweaters that are like a couple of sizes too big for me and this one actually is, so it makes it super comfy. This is a Berry Textured Sweater from Next you can get yours here.

I chose this outfit because it is basic and wearable everywhere! 
I really like the sweater, and it looks cozy. The pants are gorgeous and the colour is beautiful. I would wear this on many occasions, school, out with friends, dinner-partys and more. I would also choose some black pumps to go with this.  I really like this style because I thing when you wear it you feel really unique.
