THE shows of the week

hey guys! Me and Nejra had a little cozy time yesterday and watched the show of the year! Victoria´s Secret Fashion Show, and it was as expected beautiful, glamorous and amaaaazzziinnnggg. We get exited every year for it and every year it gets better and bigger and more awesome. I was happy and surprised to see Cara there too! she killed it on the runway with her personality. 

Rihanna was entertaining the people. Her outfit is beautiful, especially the pearl accessories.  

CHANEL´s pre-autumn 2012 collection was presented the other day at the Linlithgow Palace in Scotland. Every Chanel show is spectacular on its own, this one I loved especially very much because I´m a winter person and I absolutely loved all the sweaters and the tights and the coats and the pants and then the long dresses at the end.. oh my god it was sooo gorgeous that I think I might have gone to fashion haven where Karl Lagerfeld is God.

its that time of the year again

It snowed this morning and everything was white and beautiful, it was dark tho and it stayed that way all day until it got even darker and eventually into full darkness. The snow is gone now because of the heavy rain that came right after and the wind is still blowing strong. But that doesn´t matter, because at this time of the year when the cold and the holidays come, with them comes the feeling of coziness, peace and comfort. We have cookies, Christmas lights on and soft music.
Today, because of the dark and rain it was impossible for us to go out and take pictures so here are some holiday pics from last year.

living in the dark

During the summer in Iceland the sun truly never fully sets, you can experience the midnight sun and you feel like the day is endless. But this time of the year we basically live in the dark, its daylight for only about four or five hours, on a good day the sky peeks out a little from the clouds but mostly everyday is grey. But I don´t mind, I love this time of the year, its cozy and relaxing. I love the sound of the rain and the raindrops on my window, and when its so windy that you feel like the world is going to end. The dark makes me feel secured and home, and it becomes even more special when the Christmas lights start shining.
Today we had to hurry up to take some pictures before it got dark, we were lucky that the sky came out and even tho it looks like summer in the pictures, we were freezing, the ground was frozen and the snow from the mountains gave the winter away.

Studio photoshoot

Hi ya´ll, me and Nejra have been rather busy these past weeks with work and school and stuff. There is a huge storm going over Iceland and its windier then ever, so we have no other choice then to stay inside so we don´t go up in the air. With that said, no way can we go out and take some pictures but here is an old photoshoot we did with our friend Anna Regina last year. Me and Anna were taking photography classes in school and we had an opportunity to shoot in a photography studio, we were going for a some sort of a 50´s theme but my pictures ended up being more 20´s then 50´s. Anyway, have a good weekend. :* -
